More than just a football player
The Journey
I'm Matt Laur, a 27-year-old professional football player and coach from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Football has taken me from the fields of Division III college ball to professional leagues across Germany, Mexico, and the United States.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota Morris with a degree in Human Services: Criminal Justice, I took my game overseas to pursue professional football. The journey has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the value of hard work.
At 6'4" and 225 lbs with a 4.50 forty, I bring size, speed, and versatility to any roster. My experience spans multiple positions (WR, DB, TE, and even some QB/RB in unique situations), making me a valuable asset for any team looking for a player who can contribute in multiple ways.
Beyond playing, I've developed a passion for coaching. Leading an offense to an undefeated championship season as an Offensive Coordinator was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

Life Beyond Football
While football is my passion, it's not everything. My background in Human Services and Criminal Justice reflects my interest in helping others and making a positive impact in my community.
When I'm not on the field or in the film room, you can find me spending time with family and friends, exploring new places (living abroad has given me a love for travel), and staying active in any way I can.
The international experience has been incredible - living in Germany and playing in Mexico has broadened my perspective and taught me to appreciate different cultures and approaches to the game.
